How to create tiers

Build out the tiers for your membership plan, from naming and pricing through to card design and wallet pass styling.

Before you start

Make sure you've created your membership plan and your benefits before building your tiers. How to set up your member benefits.

1 ᐧ Name your tier

Give your tier a name. Let your brand's tone of voice lead you and don't be afraid to lean into your creative angle — step away from the generic bronze, silver, and gold.

2 ᐧ Set your pricing

Set whether the tier is free or paid.

3 ᐧ Set your status

Keep your tier set to Draft while you're building it out, then switch it to Active when you're ready to go live.

4 ᐧ Set your visibility

Set your tier to Public if you want it visible to everyone who lands on your plan page. Direct gives you a private tier accessible only via a unique link, perfect for sending an invitation to an exclusive membership curated for specific recipients.

5 ᐧ Add sign-up page benefits

List out the perks that come with this tier. These are displayed on the sign-up page within the tier card, so make them count, a clear, compelling list can make all the difference when a member is deciding which tier to choose.

📚 Note: Benefits are created in a separate section. Learn about benefits.

6 ᐧ Add wallet benefits

Choose which benefits appear in a member's wallet for this tier. If you haven't created any benefits yet, head there now.

7 ᐧ Design the card

Customise the look of the digital membership card for this tier. Choose a background colour, text colour, and logo to make it feel distinct and on-brand.

🤓 Tip: Use a simplified, square version of your logo to keep the card looking clean and impactful.

8 ᐧ Add a wallet header image

Add a tier-specific image that members see when they log into their digital wallet to view their benefits. Tailoring content to each tier makes the experience feel that little bit more special.

9 ᐧ Style the Apple/Google Wallet pass

Choose a background, text, and label colour, then upload a custom logo or select one from your existing theme. Add an image and preview the pass before going live.

💡 Good to know: All of this can be edited at any time, even after your tier is live, so you can refine the design as your brand evolves.

Once you've worked through all of these steps, switch the status to Active and your tier will go live on your plan page.
