Setup your referral program

Decide who has access to the program

You can filter who has access to a program by tag.

For example using tags you could offer two different programs, a first level to all customers and a second, better program to customers engaged in your membership or loyalty program or even specific tiers of that program.

Setup the incentive

A good referral program offers an incentive to engage and complete the referral, the value of that incentive will vary depending on your business.

And setup the reward

Once the referral has been made, its a good idea to reward the original referrer.

You can use our workflow builder to setup a reward, simply issuing an amount of credit, or go further and setup logic flows that determine the reward based on things like their total spend, membership tier and more.

How is the referral confirmed?

If we have a suitable integration enabled, for example with your Shopify shop the referral is confirmed automatically.

Manual confirmation is always available via the admin area, you can either:

  1. Search the referral invite code in the global admin search

  2. Or search up the referrer or referee by name, email or phone number and activate it from there.
