How to enrol members into your membership plan

Once your membership plan is live, there are several ways to get customers signed up, from a hosted page to direct tier links, Shopify embeds, and the API.

Before you start

Make sure your membership plan is live and set to Active. Configure your membership plan.

1. Send customers to your hosted membership page

Share a link to your Glu-hosted membership page, fully branded to your business. Customers can browse your publicly visible tiers, compare what's included, and sign up for the tier of their choice. Payment is taken at the end of the flow if applicable.

2. Send customers directly to a specific tier

Each tier has its own unique sign-up link, so you can send customers straight to the tier you want them to join.

  1. Go to the tier in your Glu admin

  2. Click Actions in the top right

  3. Select View tier sign-up

The sign-up page will open in a new tab. Copy the URL and use it on your website, in ads, on social media, or send it directly to customers via email or message.

3. Embed in your Shopify store

If Glu is connected to your Shopify store, use the Shopify theme editor to drag the Glu membership widget onto an existing page or create a new standalone page.

4. Use the API

For full control over the sign-up experience, use the Glu API to activate memberships programmatically. Read the guide on using the API to create memberships.

šŸ’” Good to know: You can use more than one of these methods at the same time - for example, a hosted page for general sign-ups and a direct tier link for exclusive invitations.
