Before you start
Make sure you're logged into your Glu admin area before getting started.
1 ᐧ Go to Create order
Head to the gift card dashboard and click Create order. You'll be taken to your store.
2 ᐧ Add the gift card to your basket
While on your store, browse and add the gift card you want to issue to your basket, just as a customer would, then proceed to checkout.
3 ᐧ Select Complimentary at checkout
At the checkout you'll see additional payment options. Select Complimentary, provide a reason, and click Complete.
💡 Good to know: The reason you enter is stored against the order for reference, making it easy to track and report on complimentary gift card activity.
Frequently asked questions
Can complimentary gift cards be posted to the customer?
Yes. At checkout, select postal delivery and enter the customer's address. The Glu team will print, pack, and post the gift card as usual.
Do Glu's fees apply to complimentary orders?
No. There are no fees from Glu for complimentary orders.
