Connecting Lightspeed to Glu

This guide walks you through connecting your Lightspeed K-Series POS to Glu, enabling seamless gift card redemption, real-time balance sync, and streamlined reconciliation across your venues.

Activate the integration

Start by activating Lightspeed as an integration in Glu. The first time you do this, you'll be redirected to Lightspeed's back office to log in (if you're not already) and authorise Glu to access your account.

Once you authorise, you'll be sent back to Glu to finish setup.

If you've already connected Lightspeed, you can review or update the integration by going to Settings → Integrations → Lightspeed.

Request Real-Time Notifications (RTN)

Our team will contact Lightspeed support on your behalf to request RTN activation. You'll be copied on the email for visibility. This typically takes 1–2 days for Lightspeed to complete.

Map your locations

Both Lightspeed and Glu maintain a list of locations for your organisation—usually representing your physical venues.

To ensure transactions at your Lightspeed POS are attributed correctly, review and confirm the suggested mapping between Glu and Lightspeed locations. You can update these mappings at any time.
