Activating the Glu integration
The first step is to activate Square as an integration in Glu.
The first time you activate the Square integration, you'll be transferred to Square where you'll be asked to login if you're not already, and authorise Glu to access your
account.
What happens once connected?
Once connected a Square Location will be created for each of your Glu stores, gift cards will then show in Square as being activated at the Square Location linked to a Glu store.
The activity and revenue of sold gift cards is linked to the location and can be easily filtered away in your reporting in Square and won't be mixed in with your other venues which could cause confusion.
If you have gift cards that are active before Square was connected they will be automatically synced, depending on the quantity this can take some time, new sales are activated in Square instantly.
