Before you start
Open your POS and launch Lightspeed K Series.
Process the order as normal until you’re ready to take payment.
You will now see a “Redeem gift card” button.
Key Steps
Step 1: Process Your Order
Begin by processing the order as you normally would in the Lightspeed POS system.
Ensure all items are added to the cart before proceeding.
Step 2: Click on Redeem Gift Card
Locate and click the 'Redeem Gift Card' button, which is prominently displayed.
Step 3: Enter Gift Card Code
A gift card code lookup window will appear.
Enter the unique code found on the gift card into the provided input field.
Step 4: Review Order Total and Credit Balance
After entering the code, click 'Search'.
Review the displayed order total and the credit balance available on the gift card.
Step 5: Apply Gift Card Balance
Decide whether to apply the full or a partial amount of the gift card balance to the order.
Click 'Redeem' to apply the selected amount.
Step 6: Complete Payment Processing
Proceed with the normal payment processing methods to finalize the transaction.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure the gift card code is entered correctly to avoid errors.
Double-check the order total and credit balance before applying the gift card to prevent discrepancies.
Tips for Efficiency
Familiarise yourself with the location of the 'Redeem Gift Card' button for quicker access.
