Before you start
Open your POS and launch Lightspeed K Series. Tap the Gift Cards button when you're ready to add a gift card to an order.
1 ᐧ Click Gift cards
Tap the Gift Cards button from your Lightspeed home screen.
2 ᐧ Sell a gift card
Tap Sell a gift card below the lookup search fields.
3 ᐧ Select delivery method
Choose whether you're selling a physical or digital gift card.
Physical
Enter the value of the gift card
Scan the QR code on the physical card to assign it to the order
Enter the recipient's email address
Click Add to order
Digital
Enter the value of the gift card
Enter the recipient's email address
Click Add to order
💡 Good to know: If your venue sells physical gift cards, this option will be selected by default when you arrive at this step.
4 ᐧ Gift card added to order
The gift card will appear as a line item on the order. Review the order and proceed when you're ready.
5 ᐧ Complete Payment Processing
Process payment as normal to finalise the transaction.
