Before you start
Make sure you have the following in place:
A membership plan and tiers already created in Glu
Access to your Lightspeed back office
Step 1 — Create the discount as a benefit in Glu
In Glu, create a new benefit and set the type to Discount. From there, set a discount code and specify the discount amount or percentage you want to offer your members.
Step 2 — Create the matching discount in Lightspeed
Log in to your Lightspeed back office
In the left navigation, go to Payments and select Discounts
Create a new discount and set the same amount or percentage as the benefit you created in Glu
Open Advanced settings and enter the same discount code you used in Glu
It's important that the code, amount, and type match exactly between Glu and Lightspeed — this is what connects the two together and ensures the discount works correctly at the point of sale.
