View and Manage Customer Memberships from the POS

You can easily view and manage your customers’ memberships right from your Shopify POS, thanks to our seamless integration.

Before You Begin

Make sure the Glu app is installed on your Shopify store before setting up memberships in your POS.

Add the Membership Tile

Adding a tile to your POS home screen is the simplest way to manage memberships during checkout.

  1. On your POS home screen, tap Add tile (the last tile in your grid).

  2. Select Apps, then choose Glu.

  3. Tap Membership Management to add it.

  4. Drag and drop the tile to your preferred spot on the screen.

Once added, the tile gives your team instant access to membership details right where you need them.

View a Customer’s Membership

When a customer with an email address is added to the cart, the tile automatically updates to show their membership tier and available balance.


Tap the tile for a detailed view of their membership information.

Apply Customer Credit or Gift Cards

From the detailed view, you can quickly apply available credit or gift card balances:

  1. Select the credit or gift card you want to use.

  2. Tap Apply - it will be automatically added to the customer’s cart.

Assign a Physical Membership Card

If you issue physical membership cards, you can assign one to a customer from the detailed view.
Simply enter the card’s code, and their membership, credits, and rewards will sync instantly.
Hand the card to the customer - it’s ready to use right away.

Add Credit to a Customer’s Account

Need to reward a customer or offer store credit? You can do that directly from the detailed view.


Just enter the amount, and the credit will be added to their account instantly.
